Lynn Odom Bio

Lynn Odom was born in Georgia and has traveled across America, to our National Parks and protected spaces, and historical sites, taking photographs of people, places, flora and fauna.  In her art, she shows the beauty around us, invoking memories of places we have been but have forgotten by using the pallet knife, brushes and other tools to create an emotional expressive mark.  

 

Her work is traditional in content yet expressive in style, creating a feeling of calm and peacefulness that is sometimes hard to find these days.  She is currently working on a more contemporary style of painting, opening herself up to a more expressive style of art.  

 

Lynn is a life-long learner, and is graduating from the University of Texas - San Antonio with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.  She was honored by being inducted into the University’s Academy of Undergraduate Research Associates (AURA).
